On Dec. 12th we held our first Central Florida Alumni meet up. Our goal is to start a Central Florida Alumni group for not only our college Alumni but our young professionals as well. We have found that the College Alumni groups tend to fold once the main person graduates. We hope that this approach will lead to a stronger volunteer base with Alumni from all over who are putting down roots in our community. The event was held at Buca Di Beppo in the Florida Mall. We had a nice crowd and saw new faces. We talked about the Regional and what kind of volunteers we are looking for and asked what kind of other events the group would like to see. The Space Coast Alumni group already contacted me about hosting an Alumni meet up during the Orlando Regional.
